Its latest scheme is one that is sure to make systems builders give Lindows.com some very careful thought.

The company currently offers system builders the rather nice money saver of a $500 flat fee. It doesn't matter how many PCs you ship, that's the price you pay to include the LindowsOS. It's a nice deal. Lindows.com then makes its money by selling software and other services.
