If you're passionate about Windows and use it in a creative way, you could win valuable prizes.
Winners of the Start Something Amazing Awards will get a chance to meet the Chief Software Architect himself, Bill Gates, in a Seattle ceremony.
"Whether it's raising donations for favorite causes or recording a first album, the incredible advancements in technology and the Windows platform offer individuals greater opportunities to follow their passions," said Mr. Gates.
People can enter the contest by submitting a 300 word essay about how they or someone they know have been using Windows technology to pursue a passion or interest; photos may be included with the entry.
Winners will be selected from each of the following five categories: Culture & Community, Music, Memories, Home & Lifestyle, and Sports & Games. A grand prize recipient will be chosen from those winners and be featured in a national ad campaign for Start Something.
The sponsors included National Geographic, VH1, Entertainment Weekly, HGTV, and ESPN.
